Balkan DMC · for tour operators

The Balkans, handled.

By people who actually live here. We manage every detail on the ground so your guests remember how the trip felt long after they get home.

chapter one · who we are

A DMC built on real foundations

Most DMCs will tell you they offer authentic experiences and seamless operations. We'd rather show you what that actually looks like. Leatherback built its DMC model in Central Asia first - complex terrain, high guest expectations, real logistical challenges. The Balkans is the natural next chapter. Same philosophy, new backyard.

If you're a tour operator who cares about what your guests feel - not just what they see - this is for you.

Genuine

The Balkans is our backyard. These are our relationships. You feel that on the ground - not in a sales pitch.

Different

We design how a trip feels, not just what it covers - experiences that aren't Google-able, paced properly, with room for the unexpected. Rhythm, not checklists.

Community-focused

Travel works best when it creates real human connection - between guests, operators, locals and the places they move through. We take that seriously.

chapter two · special feeling

We don't design itineraries.
We design how it feels.

Special Feeling is one of our operating principles - and it's what your guests will talk about when they get home. Not the itinerary. The moments. The detail nobody told them to expect. The gesture nobody had to make. It's different every trip, because every group is different. But the instinct is always the same: pay attention, care genuinely, and notice the things that change how someone experiences a trip.

chapter three · what this means for you

Your guests become our guests

Your reputation travels with them. Our job is to make you look exactly as good as you are.

  • We communicate early and clearly when plans shift
  • We make decisions on the ground, calmly
  • We fix problems quietly - before guests know there was one
  • We brief guides on your brand, not just the route

Our team lives across the Balkans - Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia. Because we operate multiple travel brands ourselves, we know how important it is for a DMC to feel aligned with your voice, standards, pace and guest expectations.
